Boarding at New Horizon Farm

New Horizons Farm offers limited boarding spots available for well-behaved geldings that get along with other geldings. (Sorry, no stallions. Well-behaved mares that get along with other mares may be possible depending on space.) We offer a wonderful opportunity if you are looking for a safe place to retire or semi-retire your horse, or to ride at a no-drama facility that is peaceful, quiet, and feels like your own. Located on ten beautiful acres in Bath, Michigan, we are a small private farm focused primarily on breeding, but have a few wonderful boarders who are part of our farm family. Since we have an average of nine horses on the premises, there are many opportunities to have the indoor or outdoor arena to yourself if you prefer, or to share it with a few other riders who focus on dressage and jumping, and who just enjoy spending time with their horses. We are located just 3 1/2 miles off Interstate 69 on 1/2 mile stretch of paved road NE of East Lansing/Lansing area. Horse-friendly community with miles of dirt roads to ride on, or trailer your horse to Rose Lake riding trails just a few miles away, or Sleepy Hollow State Park riding trails about ten minutes away. Only twenty minutes from MSU, excellent farrier and vet services available.

Owner lives on premises and has over twenty five years’ experience breeding, raising, showing horses. References available from our clients and references required of new clients. One month deposit required. Private turnout for summer (and possibly winter) is available. Board ranges from $500-$800, depending on if pasture/stall board, private/group turnout, or basic/full all-inclusive board. *Please note that if you trailer out to shows this is not the place for you, as this is first and foremost a breeding facility. If you trail ride, ride dressage, jump for fun, or just want to board at a facility that feels like your own with great people, then this is the place for you!
