New Horizons is SO EXCITED to welcome Zinderella of Dreamfield to our breeding program!!This amazing mare was bred by our great friend, Jennie Deephouse, who has purchased several horses from us over the years (including Tux and two of Teake’s full sisters). Jennie has also trained and shown many horses for us to wins in multiple disciplines, including Stellar, and she prepped Stellar for the North American Stallion Testing back in 2013.

We are extremely excited to acquire this gorgeous, fantastic-moving mare! We have been looking for a long time for a special young mare to add to our breeding program knowing that Rosie will be retiring. I’ve had my eye on Zinda since I fell in love with her as a yearling. Zinda embodies all of the qualities we look for in our mares. An exceptional mover with great freedom of shoulder and reach from behind, she is smart, willing and very level-headed with excellent conformation, in addition to being tall, modern and gorgeous! Zinda is @15H as a four-year-old and still growing.

Zinda also brings new bloodlines on her dam’s side and sire’s dam side to our program. She is by the gorgeous and athletic Next Level GHJ (aka Kevin), who has shown successful through second level dressage, as well as over fences in combined training, low jumpers and low hunters, and who is a grandson of the incredibly athletic Gold classified Austrian stallion, Nordtirol, who holds the World Show record in jumping over five feet! Kevin’s dam is the tall, athletic, Gold rated mare, Heike TOF, by Andrit, one of Austria’s top producing broodmare sires. Zinda’s dam is the beautiful Zanadu GGHF, who has been successfully shown under saddle herself and who is the dam of the exceptional mare, Zihna II GGHF, Zinda’s full sister who is classified at 79 points and was the winner of the 2013 Dressage at Devon Haflinger IBC. Zanadu’s sire is Aristo TOF, a son of the Elite Gold classified performance stallion, Aristocrat TOF.

A huge thank you to Jennie for breeding this outstanding mare and allowing us to purchase her! We hope to present Zinda to Westfalen this fall and get her started under saddle in the spring before breeding her to Stellar for a 2023 foal (which already has someone interested in giving it a home)! This combination should be a “stellar” cross for anyone looking for a future dressage or eventing prospect!
