Flawless’s sire, the German import Nasdaq NTF (now deceased), was never shown or inspected, but was known for his tremendous movement and for passing on his movement to his offspring, and has sired numerous high silver classified and inspected offspring. Nasdaq is by the German National Champion and leading N-line stallion in Germany, Nastral. Nasdaq’s dam is a full-sister to the dam of Amadeus (now deceased), the highest ever classified stallion in the world at 85 points.
Flawless’s dam, the Austrian imported mare Fiona (pictured at right), was classified 1a in Austria before being imported. Fiona is also @15H, with long, clean legs and a long neck with a beautiful head. Fiona is out of the GOLD/ELITE Austrian mare, Falsetta, one of the leading mare lines in Austria, owned by the Eiter family. Falsetta is by Andrit, one of the premier broodmare sires in Austria. Fiona’s sire is Nabucco, the sire of many top horses throughout the world, including Notting Hill, Rivella TOF, and Nobleman of Tudor Oaks. Nabucco is especially known for producing outstanding broodmares. Fiona is a full sister to Fabalon, owned by Wingspann Farm. This mare line is very consistent in producing tall, modern, outstanding moving offspring.
Flawless was leased by Dreamfield Manor Farm through 2015 and produced a gorgeous stud colt for them by the silver classified stallion, Alert RWF. Alert the Press DMF is a gorgeous colt with correct conformation and lovely movement.
Flawless’s first foal born in 1996 is a spectacular colt out of Afghan III NTF. Afghan NTF (“Afytaka”) is 15.1H and gelded, but could have easily been an outstanding stallion candidate. He is now owned and being shown successfully under saddle and in hand by Dreamfield Manor Farm in Pennsylvania.
The Fiona/Nasdaq cross has produced several exceptional offspring, including Flawless’s full sister, Ferari NTF (pictured at left), who was SILVER classified in 2011. Ferari is another gorgeous representative of the modern Haflinger, with clean, refined bone, a beautiful head, excellent conformation and outstanding movement.
Flawless was started under saddle in summer 2016 and is a wonderful under saddle mount for everyone who rides her! This tall, sweet mare is very quick to learn, was very easy to start under saddle, and is happy working alone or with other horses in the arena. With her outstanding movement Flawless will make someone a wonderful show horse, or be just as happy as someone’s pleasure/trail horse. She just needs more miles on her.
