We are very excited to finally have our future breeding prospect to take Stellar’s place after he retires! As fate would have it, Teake’s 2024 foal is the first foal in over ten years that did not sell in utero, but we could not be happier, because Junior is the perfect stallion prospect to take his sire’s place in the breeding and performance sheds in a few years! This gorgeous colt has excellent conformation, exceptional movement with three quality gaits, great reach from behind and outstanding extension in front, and a wonderful willing temperament and character like his sire. Junior was awarded Premium and Champion colt and was the the highest overall scoring foal out of ten Warmblood, Thoroughbred, Welsh, German Riding Pony and Haflinger foals/weanling at his 2024 Westfalen Inspection, receiving a fantastic overall score of 8.2! Junior also tested double negative for both SCC and PSSM1, and so is clear of those genetic markers. His future is bright, and we cannot wait to watch him develop! We plan to have him inspected by Westfalen at age three or four, and then to prepare him for the North American Stallion Sport Test in 2029 when he is five.
