By Adanac, the highest HBO Classified stallion in North America (82+ points)!
Dam of GOLD Classified Rafinja of New Horizons by Stellar TVR!
This RPSI Premium/Inspection Champion, AHR Silver Classified and American Warmblood Society (AWS) GOLD medal award winner and National Inspection Champion mare is an outstanding example of the modern, pleasure sporthorse type Haflinger! With only five foals on the ground, Rikka has proven herself to be a top producer as well, with her first inspected colt achieving approval for breeding status in 2013, and two other foals receiving RPSI Gold Premium status and site inspection champions (one over nine Warmblood and sport pony foals), and another achieving high Silver Premium status! Rikka’s refinement and elegance are paired with a beautiful head, very long, elegant neck (one of the longest and most beautiful necks we have seen on a Haflinger!), long, long legs, and a large, beautiful kind eye. Ricola’s a pure white mane and tail, dark chestnut coloring, and leggy, modern type draw attention wherever she goes!
Ricola’s pedigree is loaded with the top broodmare and sire bloodlines in the Haflinger world! Her sire, Adanac, (Afghan II x Annette) is a Star stallion and one of the highest classified stallions in North America at 82 points and the only GOLD classified stallion in Canada (now deceased)! Adananc’s sire is a former World Champion and is out of the great liz. Afghan. Adanac is also half brother to Amadeus (now deceased), who was the highest classified stallion in Austria at 85 points. Adanac’s dam, Annette (Winterstein x Assunta), is out of one of the strongest mare lines in Europe. Annette was first in her class at the 1995 and 2000 World Show, and is a full sister to Assita and to Alegra (GOLD classified-Austria). In 2010, the World Champion mares descended from this mare line. Ricola’s dam, Ricarda II, is AHR silver classified (76 points), and is out of a full sister to the dam of Rivella TOF, and by the great broodmare sire, Nabucco.
On July 25, 2014 we presented Rikka and her 2014 filly, Rafinja of New Horizons to RPSI at the Michigan inspection. Rafinja is Stellar’s first foal to be inspected RPSI, and we are proud to say that she received the highest status awarded foals! Below is the commentary taken from the RPSI site.
